eLien & Title

The Electronic Lien & Title Program (ELT) is a method by which State agencies and a lending institution (lien holder) can exchange vehicle and title information. Instead of printing a paper title and mailing it to the lien holder, the Department can transmit essential identifying information electronically. Once the lien has been satisfied, the lien holder sends an electronic message releasing the title.

eDS is the only Single Gateway "HUB" solution and provider in the United States and offers State agencies the solution in order to replace a timely and outdated paper title process. The HUB is a web based application that allows for the transfer and maintenance of ELT title information from state databases to lienholders via approved service providers. The eDS team works with clients from start to finish, developing, implementing, and maintaining a successful ELT program.

"...the centralize hub model, with Service Providers working independently with the hub, is very effective ...Help Desk support has been outstanding ...insure that all ELT Service Providers and Lenders are treated consistently and fairly." Read More
