eLien & Title

In 2009, SB1293 mandated the participation of all lienholders in the Arizona ELT program. Later that year, eDS took over the management of Arizona’s ELT program and developed a single gateway HUB solution in anticipation of handling this mandated program. In 2010, eDS Hub solution was implemented and has run uninterrupted since that time, servicing five national service providers and over 7,000 financial institutions & lienholders.

eTemporary Permit (eTRP)

eDS currently manages a temporary registration permit (TRP) application, eTRP, for the State of Arizona. With over 1,000 dealerships making up over 4,000 users, this system has simplified the TRP process not only for the State, but for the dealerships that utilize it by allowing temporary permits to be printed directly at the dealerships. This system requires no special printers or paper and allows users to print permits from their regular inkjet printers on an 8X11 piece of copy paper, making the system and process affordable to the end user. With its highly advanced design, permits are printed with intricate security markings to help prevent duplication.

The eTRP system processes over 550,000 permits a year.

eTitle & Registration (eTitle)

eDS currently manages an electronic title and registration application, eTitle, to assist with the process of the title and registration from start (dealership point of sale) to the MVD database (documents submitted to MVD).

This application is currently utilized by the Arizona Automobile Dealers Association (AADA) Third Party Provider office and over 150 dealerships statewide. eTitle simplifies the title and registration process by reducing the time it takes to process paperwork submitted by dealerships on behalf of their customers , the whole process is a couple clicks of a button. This system is designed to communicate directly with the Arizona Motor Vehicle System allowing for real time updates and processing. eTitle simplifies the title and registration process by reducing the time it takes to process paperwork submitted by dealerships on behalf of their customers. eTitle processes over 252,000 pieces of title and registration work annually.

eDocument Management

In 2012, eDS developed and implemented a document management program for its eTitle application. This technology solution allows for dealership users to submit title and registration documents electronically to their certified processors at AADA. Once received, the processor can then send these documents on to the Motor Vehicle Department electronically, making the whole title and registration process not only more secure and efficient, but 100% paperless.

Since implementation the eDS Document management solution has saved the State of Arizona over 1.5 million pieces of paper.
